Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to autoshiftmedia.com, the corporate website of Auto Shift Media LLC. The Pitlane product (operated at usepitlane.com) has its own separate privacy policy that governs customer data inside the product.
1. What we collect on this website
This corporate website collects very little. There are no user accounts, no forms, no payment processing, and no personalization. The information we receive is limited to:
- Email contents if you choose to send a message to one of the addresses listed on this site (e.g.
abdul@autoshiftmedia.com). Your email and its contents are stored in our Google Workspace inbox. - Standard server logs, IP address, user agent, request URL, and timestamp, kept by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and reliability purposes. These logs are not used for marketing.
2. What we don’t collect
This site does not use third-party analytics, marketing cookies, social-media tracking pixels, advertising trackers, or session recording. There are no cookies set on this domain that require consent beyond what’s strictly necessary to load the page.
If you visit Pitlane (usepitlane.com), its policy applies separately and discloses its own analytics use.
3. How we use the information
Email contents: if you email us, we read and respond. If the email leads to a business relationship (a partnership, vendor arrangement, customer relationship), we retain the correspondence as part of normal business records. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.
Server logs: used by Vercel to secure the site and to investigate downtime or abuse. We do not export server logs for marketing or analytics.
4. Third parties we share with
None, by default, on this website. The only processors that touch this site’s data are:
- Vercel Inc., hosting and request logging.
- Google LLC, Google Workspace email infrastructure for any email correspondence.
- Namecheap Inc., domain registration and DNS.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketing partners. We disclose data only when required by law (subpoena, court order, valid law enforcement request).
5. Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can email abdul@autoshiftmedia.com and ask us to:
- Tell you what email correspondence we’ve retained from you.
- Delete that correspondence (subject to legal retention requirements where applicable).
- Correct any factual error in our records about you.
We will respond within 30 days. We are a small company and we don’t use elaborate compliance portals; the email is the path.
For California residents: the rights granted under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA) apply. We do not sell personal information.
For EU/UK residents: rights under the GDPR apply. Auto Shift Media LLC acts as the data controller for any personal data collected on this website. The legal basis for processing is legitimate interest (responding to inbound business communication).
6. Data retention
Email correspondence: retained as long as relevant to ongoing business; otherwise deleted at our discretion or upon your request.
Server logs: retained by Vercel per their default retention (typically 30–90 days for raw logs).
7. Children
This website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
8. Security
This site is served exclusively over HTTPS. The Google Workspace inbox uses two-factor authentication. We follow reasonable industry practices for a small company; no system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we update the “Last updated” date above and post the new version. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
